From the 29th of January to the 19th of February 2023

Mt Aconcagua, the highest peak of the Americas, is located in Argentina province of Mendoza, in the west part of the country at the latitude of Santiago de Chile.

The climb through the Polish route on the northern side is not particularly difficult but is not to be underestimated because of the altitude and atmospheric conditions. The length and the altitude require excellent physical shape, a good acclimatization and good endurance, as well as practice in the use of ice axe and crampons. The area is a meeting point of drafts with different origin that create sudden and violent wind storms, bringing down the temperature to the lowest values even in the hottest seasons.
