CLIMATE AND SNOW CONDITIONS: The climatic conditions of the country are quite similar throughout the area, with very hot summers and potentially harsh winters with low humidity. Normally important anticyclones are established, and it is therefore rare that persistent low pressure conditions persist. In April, it is still possible to find cold and powder snow on the north-northeast sides. On all other sides the snow become firn very quickly.
