An introductory stage to sport climbing, on real rock in the real outdoors. This stage is as suitable for beginner as it is for indoor climber who like to explore safely the rock world.
During the two days we' ll focus on the belaying skills, basic climbing knots and the safe climbing techniques on single-pitch routes. You’ll be able to increase confidence and improve your climbing technique. The aim of the course is to teach you the basic techniques you need in order to take your own first steps safely into the outdoor climbing world.
Private groups can choose different dates, according to their needs.
Meeting with your Mountain Guide around 8 in the morning. After a short briefing your gears will be checked and you’ll receive all the equipment you’ll need during the two days. Short transfer to the crag where start the practical climbing session on 15-20 m single-pitch routes: technical informations about the equipment you’re about to use, essential knots, how to belay and lower effectively and safely, develop and practise climbing movement skills. Climbing session ends around 17.30.
Meeting with your Mountain Guide around 8 in the morning and transfer to the crag. After a review of what was covered on the first day, the training will focus on effective techniques for leading a single-pitch route: individual climbing skills, techniques for rope management and belaying. Aim of the day is help you gaining the skills you need to lead safely and confidently a single-pitch route. Climbing session ends around 17.30.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL AND REQUIRED SKILLS: is required a good level of general fitness, no climbing skills are required. Depending on the abilities of the participants it will be possible to train on different levels, between 4 and 6a (French grades) .

WHAT’S INCLUEDED: Support and assistance of an Italian certified UIAGM Mountain Guide (English speaking), all technical equipment including harness, helmet and rock shoes, ropes, quickdraws, carabiners, belay devices, logistic organization.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUEDED: Transfers, costs of board and login. Mountain guide expenses will be shared by the participants. Personal injury insurance.
