Monte Rosa is one of the few mountain ranges where you can climb a 4000 m peak daily, with an ascent of great satisfaction, suitable even to those who don’t have great technical skills. It’s one of the largest massifs of the Alps whit more than 19 peaks over 4000 m. The highest one, Dufourspitze, (4636 mt) is situated on the highest wall of the Alp: the East Wall. Gnifetti Spitze 4559m, holds another record: it hosts the highest refuge in Europe, Capanna Margherita Hut. Lyskamm 4000 offers a big range of programs that can meet everyone’s needs, from those who are taking their first steps at high altitude, to the most experienced ones .

Castore is the highest peak among the two Twin peaks called Pollux and Castore. It is located on the boarder ridge between Italy and Switzerland. The regular route through the Quintino Sella Hut and the Felik Pass it’s very easy.

Dufourspitze, high more than 4600m, is the highest point of Monte Rosa. The Rey ridge is one of the best rock climbing in high altitude of the area. Its perfect line falls directly from the top to the Grenz Glacier.

Lyskamm is the biggest and the most elegant 4000 meter peak in the Monte Rosa Mountain Range . These long crossing is one of the most famous and surely the most beautiful snow ridge of the Alps.

Cresta Signal is one of the most famous and most challenging ridge in the Monte Rosa massif and the whole Alps; it divides the wild south face from the impressive east one.

The south side of Punta Parrot is characterized by an important ridge rising from Piode glacier to the top. This itinerary goes along it, giving you the chance to admire the Monte Rosa valley from a fantastic view point.

Tagliaferro is an exceptional alternative to the Monte Rosa 4000 meters peaks. Despite its modest altitude (a bit less then 3000m) it offers great views in a very wild environment and an amazing climbing of a premium class rock quality.

The stage aims to teach to attend the mountain safely, learning to evaluate all kind of difficulties and dangers that it can hide.

Monte Rosa high Trekking is a very beautiful ring in the heart of Monte Rosa massif. 5 days program starting from the south side of Monte Rosa, Alagna Valsesia (or Gressoney) to reach Monterosa Hutte, located just above Zermatt in Swiss side. The way back will be along Val Tournanche and Val d'Ayas.
