DAILY ROCK CLIMBING STAGES

From May to November

The crag of Piana Fontana, located in a quiet forest, few minutes far from the main road to Alagna, offer a wide range of easy and short bolted single-pitch routes. It is the ideal setting to move your first steps into the rock climbing world.

Our certified mountain guides will support and help you enjoy the thrill of climbing steep rock walls, in a fun and safe way. This crag was equipped in order to be enjoyable for children and beginners. Its location, at 5 min walking for the road, the wide flat area at the base, surrounded by chestnut trees, the length of the routes, between 15 and 18m, makes this crag suitable also for the youngest and their family.

Private groups can choose different dates, according to their needs.

Basic climbing technique


Climbing on real rock

The climbing stage last 3h 30min, is available in the morning or in the afternoon:

- from 9.00 to 12.30

- from 14.00 to 17.30

You’ll meet your mountain guide at 8.30 (morning session) or at 13.30 (afternoon session) at “Caffè della mostra”, a nice bar in the centre of Mollia. During the climbing the guide will show you how to wear your harness and tie it to a rope, how to belay and lower your climbing partner and the basic climbing movement. At the end of the climbing session an extra fun activity wait for our youngest guests.
