Fifth summit of the Alps (4478m), the Mattherhorn, is characterized by a particular pyramidal form. It has four main walls oriented to the cardinal points, divided by vertiginous ridges. The Lion ridge, the Hornli ridge, the Zmutt ridge, and the ridge of Furggen. The first two represent the more easy climbing routes to reach the summit. They are called "Normal route". The other two, much more difficult are not climbed frequently. Our proposals are therefore limited to the normal routes Italian and Switzerland.
ALONG THE HORNLI RIDGE
From July to mid September
Surely, its view from Zermatt, is the most famous mountain view on the planet, and certainly the most photographed. Tall, slender and elegant with no other mountain around it.
ALONG THE LION'S RIDGE
From June to mid September
Matterhorn doesn't need any other presentation. Probably one of the most famous peak on the planet. Tall, slender, elegant, with its unique location in the heart of the Western Alps.
