From mid June to mid September

Whit this proposal, we try to gives honor to the beautiful Bernina massif, with a complete and rewarding visit. On the second day will cross the Palù peaks high just a bit less than 4000 meters, and then the summit of Piz Bernina.

During the three days we will be able to enjoy of these great mountain area. The itinerary goes along spectacular glaciers, snowy ridges and climbing trails. A complete and varied crossing. Don’t miss it.

Travel Program


Transfer to Diavolezza Hut m 2978

Meeting with the mountain guide early in the morning and transfer to Bernina Suot in Switzerland. After the check of the equipment we’ ll go up by cable car at Diavolezza Hut m 2978. Dinner and overnight.


Palù crossing

Departure around 4:30 along the glacier leading us to Vedretta di Pers. From here the ridge begins, steep and sometimes narrow until the top of Piz Palù m 3905. From the top we’ll walk down on the opposite side until the Furcla Bellavista and then, easily up to Marco e Rosa Hut 3597m. Dinner and overnight.

Walk up m 1000 - down m 480 - 7/8 hours


Climb to Piz Bernina

Departure at dawn and climb to the summit of Piz Bernina m 4049 along the south east ridge. Descent along the same itinerary until the Hut. Then along the Fortezzagrat and the Morterasch glacier down to 2700m. From here last step up along the big glacier moren until the cable car station.

Walk up 500m + 300m - down 1350m - 8/10 hours

TECHNICAL INFO: The Piz Palù crossing is on a glacier on the first part and from the col along a beautiful snow ridge. Some step can to be narrow and steep up to 45°. The climb to the top of Piz Bernina has mainly difficulty on rock up to grade III. Depending of the conditions you’ll can have the crampons on all the way up. During the descent along the Fortezzagrat we'll have several shorts rappels to do.

The accompaniment of two or three participants will be decided by the Guide in according to their experience, preparation and technical skills.

THE PRICE INCLUDES: Support and assistance of a U.I.A.G.M. Mountain Guide, all the technical equipment in common use, rental of technical equipment if you need (harness, crampons, ice axe, helmet),logistics and reservation to the Hut

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Transfer to Engadina in Switzerland, roud trip cable car Diavolezza and half board to the Huts. Guide’s lift ticket and half board will be shared by participants, injury insurance
