ALONG THE WANDFLUEGRAT

Dent Blanche is located in the heart of the Switzerland Valais. Its shape of a big pyramid, rises isolated to dominate the surrounding territory. Like most of the 4000 meters peaks in the Switzerland Valais, this is a wild mountain in an unspoiled environment without any lift.
The long approach to Roussier Hut and especially the downhill return after climbing the summit are quite tiring. All this will give you the feeling of climb in the past. The view you can enjoy from the summit is surely one of the most amazing and spectacular of the whole Alps.
TECHNICAL INFO: The approach to the Hut is very long (about 1700 meters up) but easy and relaxing along a nice trail. The south ridge, or Wandfluegrat, represents the easiest and safest climb to reach the summit. The difficulties are on rock up to grade III °, and some slopes up to 50 °. Depending on the conditions you’ll have the crampons on all the way up. The overall length of this itinerary it is not to be underestimated.
The accompaniment of two participants will be decided by the Guide in according to their experience and technical skills.

THE PRICE INCLUDES: Support and assistance of a U.I.A.G.M. Mountain Guide, all the technical equipment in common use, rental of technical equipment if you need (harness, crampons, ice axe, helmet), logistics and reservation to the Hut.
THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Transfer to Ferpecle in Switzerland, half board to the Hut. Guide’s lift ticket and half board will be shared by participants, injury insurance.
