From the 15th of June the 6th of July 2025

A trekking in one of the sanctuaries of mountaineering, made of big glaciers surrounded by steep rock walls and high peaks that seems to touch the sky.

On our way, after getting the K2 base camp, we’ll also climb the Pastore Peak 6206 m: from the summit we’ll have the opportunity to admire the view of hundred of amazing mountains: among others, Trango Towers, Mustagh Tower, Masherbrum, Chogolisa, Gasherbrum, Broad Peak and K2 8611 m. From K2 base camp, through the difficult Gondokoro Pass 5650 m and the wild and remote Hushe Valley, we’ll be finally back in Skardu, capital of Baltistan.

1stDay

Milan – Islamabad flight

International flight to Islamabad.

2ndDay

​Landing in Islamabad and Islamabad-Skardu

Depending on the weather conditions, once in Islamabad, we’ll fly to Skardu. Otherwise, transfer to the hotel, and in the afternoon visit to the city. Accommodation in Hotel.

3rdDay

Visit to the city of Skardu or Islamabad - Chilas

Relax day in Skardu. Visit to the city and the Bazaar. Otherwise departure from Islamabad by private minibus to Chilas through the legendary Karakorum Highway. 470 km - 12/14 hours. Accommodation in Hotel.

4thDay

​Rest day in Skardu or Chilas – Skardu

If we had to travel by private minibus, we’ll continue our journey along the banks of Indus River at the feet of Nanga Parbat 8125m, in order to get the city of Skardu. 280 km - 10 hours.

5thDay

​Skardu – Jhola 3100 m

Today we’ll travel by jeep through the amazing Braldu Valley in order to get Askole 2970 m, and than to jhola, starting point of our trekking. We’ll spend the night in the camp 125 km - 7/8 hours driving.

6thDay

​Jhola – Payù (3500m)

We will reach the oasis of Payù Camp site. From here we can admire the front of Baltoro glacier, Payù Peak 6600 m, Trango Towers 6617 m and Uli Biafo Tower 6527 m. 7 hours.

7thDay

​Rest day in Payù

Rest and acclimatization day.

8thDay

Payù – Urdukas (4000m)

Today we will walk on the low part of Baltoro Glacier, surrounded by masses of sharp granite towers. At the end of this long day, we’ll get the beautiful Urdukas Camp, located in the middle of big boulders, on the last grassland of the valley. 9/10 hours

9thDay

​Urdukas – Gore II 4500m

Our path continue on the glacier: today we’ll have a fantastic view on Masherbrum 7821 m and Muzthag-Tower 7527 m. 5/6 hours

10thDay

​Gore – Concordia Circus (m 4750)

Concordia Circus welcomes us with incredible view all around: Gasherbrum IV 7980 m, Broad Peak 8048 m, K2 8611 m. 4/5 hours

11thDay

Rest day in Concordia

Rest and acclimatization day.

12thDay

​Concordia – Base Camp of K2 - Concordia

We’ ll start walking through the upper part of Godwin Austin Glacier until the first goal of our trek: The Base Camp of K2. Back to Concordia Circus - 10 hours

13thDay

Concordia - Ali Camp m 5050

Today we leave Baltoro glacier climbing Vigne glacier up to Ali Camp. The walk will be in a beautiful environment surrounded by Gasherbrum and the immense Chogolisa m 7549. 5/6 hours

14thDay

Ali camp – Extra day

15thDay

Ali Camp - Gondogoro-La m 5650 - Khispang m 4800

Even today we will leave in the middle of the night to reach at dawn Gondokoro Pass. A steep descent leads us to Kisphang Camp in the Hushe valley. 8 hours

16thDay

Khispang - Shayechu (3600 m)

We continue downhill along the moraine, with a wonderful view of Laila peak and Masherbrum glaciers. Going down the valley it becomes green again with plants of cedar, tamarisks and rose roses. 7/8 hours

17thDay

Shayechu - Hushe (3200 m) - Skardu

Last day of trekking through green crops down until Hushe village. Transfer by jeep to Skardu following the road going to Kashmir. 3 hours + 5/6 hours of jeep.

18thDay

Skardu ​

Shopping and relax in Skardu

19thDay

Flight Skardu - Islamabad, or Skardu - Chilas

Domestic flight to Islamabad or in case of bad weather transfer by car to Chilas

20thDay

Islamabad

Visit to the city or transfer from Chilas to Islamabad.

21stDay

Visit to Rawalpindi

Visit to the old city and in the night transfer to the airport.

22ndDay

International flight

Flight coming back to our final destination

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Support and assistance of a certified UIAGM Mountain Guide. Services provided by local tourist agency: transfer from and to the airport, inland transports (depending on weather conditions return flight Islamabad-Skardu or transfer by private bus through the Karakoram Highway), briefing to the tourist Ministery, full board with accommodation in two places tent, sirdar, chef, canteen tent, toilet tent, table, dishware and chairs during the trekking, porters for the transport of food and equipment, personal porter (max 20 kg), trekking, climbing and camping permits fees. Half board with accommodation in hotels or guest houses (double rooms) in Skardu and Islamabad. Travel insurance (luggage, medical assistance, repatriation) provided by Innovation Viaggi or other italian travel agency.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED: International return flights (Lyskamm4000 will book your ticket), pakistani visa (around 100 €), lunches in the cities, tips, drinks, personal equipment and gears, other optional insurance (high mountain injury, travel cancelation), everything is not mentioned in “WHAT’S INCLUDED”.
