From the 23rd of November to the 5th of December 2020

A spectacular journey at the feet of Annapurna South. Our hiking start approximately at 1600m, through rice fields and, slowly, gain altitude through meadows and forests.

Once we’ll pass the higher villages, we’ll go into a high altitude landscape, made of rock walls and huge glaciers, until we’ll reach the Annapurna Sanctuary and the base camp of Annapurna South.

Private groups (min 6 people) can choose different dates, according to their needs.

Flight Milan – Kathmandu

International flight to Kathmandu.

2ndDay

Kathmandu​

Landing in Kathmandu, dealing with formalities and transfer to the hotel.

3rdDay

​Kathmandu – Pokhara – Australian Camp (m 1990)

Transfer to the airport and domestic flight to Pokhara (40min approx.). Bus transfer to Kande, where our trekking begin. In 1h 30m hiking we’ll reach the Australian Camp (1990m), where we’ll spend the night. Accommodation in lodge.

4thDay

​Australian Camp – Landruk (1660m)

Our trail go up and down through many villages. Mountains rise around and Annapurna offer us a spectacular view of its south face. We’ll finally descend to the village of Landruk, where we’ll stay for the night. Accommodation in lodge.

5thDay

Landruk – Chomrong (2170 m)

Another beautiful day with astonishing views of Annapurna and Hium-Chuli. On the way we’ll pass by the hot springs of Jinhu Danda, a good place to have some relax time. Accommodation in lodge at Chomrong.

6thDay

Chomrong - Himalayan Lodge m2900

After breakfast we walk down along a steep stair and the valley became narrow . Far we' ll see the almost perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhre. Accommodation in lodge.

7thDay

​​​Himalayan Lodge - Machhapuchhre base camp m 3700

As we walk, the valley became wider and we start to see the first snowy peaks. We hike under the almost perfect pyramid of Machhapuchhre. Accommodation in lodge.

8thDay

​B.C. Machhapuchhre - Base Camp Annapurna South m 4130

We continue our trekking through meadows and climb up to the Annapurna South base camp: on the way we’ll have the opportunity to admire the view of amazing mountains: among others, Annapurna South m 7219, Baraha Shikhar m 7647, Annapurna I m 8091, Khangsar Kang m 7485, Gangapurna m 7464, Annapurna III m 7555, Machhapuchhre m 6993. We’ll spend the night in the base camp lodge from where we’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset and a breathtaking sunrise.

9thDay

C.B Annapurna - Bamboo Lodge m 2340

After a beautiful sunrise, walk down along easy trail until Bamboo Lodge. B-L-D.
Down 1800m - 6/7 hours

10thDay

Bamboo - Ghandruk 1950m - Pokara

Last trekking day crossing several beautiful villages until Ghandruk. From there transfer by jeep to Pokara. B/L/D.
Elevation gain 900m - down 700m - 6 hours

11thDay

Pokhara - Kathmandu

Visit to the city and transfer to Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel. B/-/D

12thDay

Kathmandu

Visit of the city and its famous UNESCO sites. Overnight at the Hotel . B/-/D

13thDay

Kathmandu - Milan

Flight back to your final destination.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Support and assistance of a certified UIAGM Mountain Guide. Services provided by local tourist agency: transfer from and to the airport, inland transports or domestic flight Kathmandu-Pokara, half board in hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara (accommodation in double room 3/4 star hotels), full board during the hiking (accommodation in lodges), porters for the transport of food and equipment, personal porter (max 15kg). Travel insurance (luggage, medical assistance, repatriation) provided by Innovation Viaggi or other italian travel agency.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED: International flights A/R (Lyskamm4000 will book and buy your ticket), tourist visa (30,00€), lunches in Kathmandu and Pokhara, tips, soft and alchoolic drinks, personal equipment and gears, other optional insurance (high mountain injury, travel cancelation), everything is not mentioned in “WHAT’S INCLUDED”.
